SXSW Meetup and Biking - Part 2
We had quite a weekend in Austin with lots of events going on and the chance to meet some great people.
Our panel at SXSW which you can find out at #QuantWorld in Twitter, went really well and the people woke up early (9:30am) to see the discussion around Quantifying Our World Through Open Platforms. There was a sold out crowd, so happy to make the trip to Austin and be part of a great discussion. Thanks to Alexandre Winter and Chaterine Cuellar for sharing the stage with us. We need to repeat in 2016.
As you know we organized a couple of meetups during SXSW, had the privileged to partner with Epic Queen and the Austin Mapping Group. The ride on Saturday was done in great company with women tech makers and today we had the chance to meet the GeoGeeks from Austin.
We managed to map all the 10 miles of Butler trail, with the help from our friends in Austin. A big shout out to James, Patricia, Ana, Daniela and the crew from East Cycle who manage to take care of us superbly.
There was plenty of sunshine in Austin to take some great shots around the Colorado River, so here are a couple of the for you to enjoy:
The Swedish Startup scene was represented in the Expo floor with Narrative Clip 2 one of the portfolio companies from our investor LDV Capital showcasing to SXSW attendees.
Now we are ready to go back to Malmo with some great experiences under our belt and great feedback from attendees, but also happy to plant a Mapillary seed in Austin with the local geogeeks.
See you next year! Keep Austin Weird!
