Updating the Windows Phone App

We are really happy to share that we now have a major update of the Mapillary Windows Phone app out in the Windows Store. This release corresponds to the updated iOS app and Android app earlier this spring.

Again our awesome community member Tommy Ovesen did a great job. The new app looks great and now has functionality on par with the iOS and Android versions. Some examples of improvements are:

  • Updated camera layout
  • Feed with notifications
  • Profile page
  • Review photos before uploading

Open source too!

We decided to make the Windows Phone repository open source under a BSD license. We welcome contributors, pull requests, issues, suggestions.

Feedback Welcome

Give the update a try and let us know what you think. File any Windows Phone specific issues or bugs directly in the app repository on GitHub.

You can always reach the team on Twitter and email too.
